Bank of Ayudhya Targets 500 Million Baht in Premiums.

Aug. 6--Bank of Ayudhya (BAY) expects it bancassurance venture with Ayudhya Allianz CP (AACP) to post first-year premiums of 500 million baht this year.
The two companies, which began selling bancassurance products jointly earlier in the year, now offer them at some 168 branches in Greater Bangkok. First year premiums currently stand at 300 million baht from 1,300 policies.
"We will target the bank's customer base of three million accounts," said Pongpinit Tejagupta, a BAY first executive vice-president.
