Switzerland Aims for 5-8 Percent Rise in Number of Thai Visitors.

Sep. 4--Switzerland is wooing back Thai travellers, aiming to recover traffic lost during the Sars outbreak to achieve as much as an 8 percent year-on-year rise in the number of Thai visitors for this year.
When Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome shook the world tourism industry in March and April, the number of Thais visiting Switzerland plunged 50 percent from the same period last year.
Switzerland Tourism and Swiss International Air Lines staged the Switzerland Travel Experience 2003 exposition in Bangkok on Monday and Tuesday.
