More Funds to Save Energy in Thailand.

Sep. 3--Cheap loans or grants will be extended to more industries in the next fiscal year to encourage them to join the government-backed energy-saving drive.
The Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency Department under the Energy Ministry would allocate five billion baht in the next fiscal year to help industries upgrade equipment, said Industry Minister Somsak Thepsuthin.
Factories and buildings eligible for the financial assistance must consume electricity in excess of one megawatt.
By the end of this fiscal year on Sept 30, the 194 factories in the programme will have saved 4 million baht in ...
