Sep. 1--Market leader Advanced Info Service (AIS) is preparing to launch a new promotion today for its One-2-Call pre-paid service in a bid to counter the soaring popularity of DTAC's Happy Dprompt package.

The new package, called Freedom Freestyle, will offer four types of discounts. Freedom Friend features a four baht per minute charge for calls within the AIS network, while Freedom Bonus offers a 20 percent discount for charges of more than 25 baht within the same day.

Under Freedom Time, calls from midnight to 6 am will cost three baht/min, while Freedom Buddy allows callers to designate one number for a special ...
