Sep. 1--SC Asset, a property management company owned by the Shinawatra family, has retained National Securities as a financial adviser in preparation to launch an initial public offering within the next several months.
Suvabha Charoenying, managing director at National Securities, said SC Asset primarily focused in the commercial building and detached home market. Projects under management included the Bangkok Boulevard, a housing estate on Rarm Intra-Navamin-Eastern Outer Ring road boasting high-technology telecoms infrastructure, as well as the Shinawatra 1, 2 and 3 office towers.
