Oct. 6--Krungthai Card transactions will go offshore to a central processing centre in Melbourne, Australia under a contract signed last week with Certegy, a US-based financial services payments company.
KTC president Niwatt Chittalarn said the deal would help the company significantly reduce IT and operating costs.
Certegy will charge KTC processing charges based on transaction volume and accounts.
