Oct. 4--Coffee World Corporation, Thailand's second largest premium coffee chain, is expanding its network through franchises, rather than through their own investment, with a goal to have 80 outlets by 2005, up from 37 at present.
As well, the chain is acting on its long-held ambition to expand abroad. It is ready to open its first international franchise in the Middle East and plans more outlets in Southeast Asia through master franchise arrangements, according to managing director Olivier Janssens.
