Oct. 3--Japan-based Tomy Co, one of the world's leading producers of toys and games, plans to make Thailand the production base for its line of stationery in a move that would help its wholly owned subsidiary counteract the seasonal performance of the toy business.
Tomy (Thailand), which mainly manufacturers trains and robots, exports almost all of its products. It expects to post sales of 42 million baht this year.
