OAKLAND_Late last September, Mark Mulder and Barry Zito took turns pitching the Vancouver Canadians to the Triple-A World Series crown.

"Those two were lights out in the playoffs," recalled Adam Piatt, a former Canadian and current A's utility player.

Mulder and Zito, both 22-year-old left-handers, spent the past weekend turning out the lights on the Anaheim Angels in the final two games of a key series for the second-place A's, who visit first-place Seattle tonight for the start of a three-game series.
