SAN FRANCISCO _ Barry Bonds, talking about how hard it is to hit a home run into McCovey Cove, ran through the list of left-handed bats in the Giants' lineup.
He stopped when he got to Bill Mueller, the switch-hitting third baseman who eked out just two home runs last season.
``Billy can just forget about it,'' Bonds said, smiling wide. ``Because that's not going to happen.''
Bonds laughed. He clearly enjoyed chiding his teammate _ especially after heaping him with praise.
