CLEARWATER, Fla. _ George W. Bush campaigned in Orlando Monday, promoting affordable health care and prescription drugs for seniors _ concerns that have made Florida a major battleground in the race for the presidency.
Bush, seizing on the same issues that have given Democrat Al Gore the momentum here, spent Monday campaigning in Clearwater and West Palm Beach. This morning's stop at Florida Hospital in Orlando will cap an effort to regain the upper hand in a state where his brother Jeb is governor.
