49ers win one at last.

IRVING, Texas_Terrell Owens said he wanted to spark the 49ers to their first victory of the season. What he ended up igniting was a midfield rumble in the final minutes of the 49ers' 41-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys at Texas Stadium.

"It was a very emotional game, and maybe at some points we got carried away with our emotions," 49ers coach Steve Mariucci said. "It's been a long time coming since this football team has won a game. So many people played hard and played well."

Owens was among those who played well. But neither the Cowboys nor Mariucci and some fellow 49ers were about to praise Owens for his celebration antics after his two touchdown catches.

Desperate for a win, Owens made a stand. It just so happened he raced 50 yards on two occasions to stand on the Cowboys' cherished symbol_a big blue star at midfield_and celebrate his touchdowns.
