There are seven books in "The Chronicles of Narnia." Although C.S. Lewis wrote "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" first in 1950, it's actually the second book in the sequence. In Narnia chronology, the books are:
_"The Magician's Nephew" (1955): In 1900, two children_Digory and Polly_discover a secret passage linking their houses and vanish in the World of Charn. They awaken the evil Queen Jadis (who will become the White Witch) and witness the dawn of the Land of Narnia as Aslan begins the song of creation.
