ABOUT WASHINGTON: The Huskies, rather graceful about their exclusion from the Bowl Championship Series national title game, appear to be making the most of their trip to Southern California. Coach Rick Neuheisel has allowed his team some liberty in L.A., and why not_the Huskies are 14-point favorites. Washington is 6-6-1 in Rose Bowls and about the same (14-12-1) in bowl trips.
