Bucs prepare for tough game against Eagles at Veterans Stadium.

TAMPA, Fla. _ The last time Jamie Duncan attended an Eagles playoff game at Veterans Stadium, he was happy to be imprisoned in a 400-level box, safely shielded from the loco locals above and below.

"I was home from college (Vanderbilt) on break, and my uncle had tickets. It was `95 and Philly beat the hell out of Detroit that day," said Duncan, the Tampa Bay linebacker who grew up in Wilmington, Del. "It was wild. When people say their fans are rowdy, they mean" rowdy."

Until he played on it as an Eagles rookie, during a preseason game in 1996, Steve White thought the Vet's infamous turf looked soft and green as a fairway.
