Jun. 12--Colorado Springs, Colo., which was on Dell's short list a year ago when it opened its first U.S. plant outside Texas in Nashville, Tenn., may again be under consideration.

The Round Rock-based computer maker is mum publicly on its expansion plans, saying only that it constantly evaluates expansion options. However, one executive said privately last month that Dell is hunting for a third site for its fast-growing business.
