Jul. 22--Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner Denise Bode said Friday she hopes to get natural gas regulators in adjacent states to come up with ways to mitigate a potentially big problem this winter.
States desperately need to get attention focused on the possibility that this winter there may be natural gas shortages and gas could cost twice as much as last winter, she said.
Regulators in gas-producing states know the issues and the states need "to make sure that we limp through in the best possible manner this winter," Bode said.
