Aug. 2--The name of one of Chattanooga's biggest brokerage firms will change on Aug. 12 when J.C. Bradford & Co. completes its merger with PaineWebber.

But the advice from the company's financial advisors remains the same.

Despite a more volatile stock market, the chief market strategist for PaineWebber is confident the bull market will continue on Wall Street.

During a Chattanooga appearance Tuesday, PaineWebber Managing Director Mary Farrell predicted the robust economy should continue to boost the value of stock investments, especially those in the technology field.
