Arkansas Publishers Merge Newspaper Operations.

Aug. 22--WEHCO Media Inc. and Community Publishers Inc. have announced a new venture to combine their newspaper publishing operations in Benton and Washington counties in Arkansas.

The combined operations will include the Northwest Arkansas Times, the Benton County Daily Record and the Northwest Arkansas edition for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. CPI's weekly newspapers also will be included in the new enterprise.

WEHCO owns the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and is the owner of the Chattanooga Times and Chattanooga Free Press.

Subscribers to the Northwest Arkansas Times and the Benton County Daily Record will receive the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette's …
