Sep. 14--Ownership is passing from father to son at six Bob Moore auto dealerships in the metro area, according to documents on file at the state Motor Vehicle Commission.

Sale of a seventh dealership is expected to win commission approval in October. A Texas buyer has acquired an eighth Bob Moore dealership in Durant, the agency reported.

Together, the dealerships are valued at $9.43 million.

By state law, commissioners inspect and approve the sale of dealerships. A sale application identifies principals in the transaction, a dealership's net worth, the size of service and parts departments, a business history and any …
