Sep. 23--The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on Friday filed suit against Sight 'n Sound Appliance Centers on behalf of a worker who claimed she was discriminated against because she was pregnant.

EEOC's filing complains that Lisa Smith, a Sight 'n Sound store manager who claims she was demoted to a saleswoman/office manager position, had her salary reduced and lost her bonus because the president thought she would get hurt during her pregnancy and sue the company.

Darrell Chabino, owner of Sight 'n Sound, on Friday denied the claims made by the EEOC.
