Oct. 20--Pepsi and Coca-Cola are bidding for the exclusive right to supply the Roseville Joint Union High School District with soft drink products in cafeterias and vending machines.
Each company has offered a five-year contract that would amount to roughly $1 million in revenue for the district, which consists of Roseville, Granite Bay, Oakmont and Woodcreek high schools and Adelante High School, a continuation school.
But the winning bidder, which is expected to be chosen by the district's trustees Nov. 14, would not be permitted to engage in any advertising that goes beyond what is already offered on the campuses.
