Oct. 26--Just six months after opening its first store, Robinson-based The Nutrition Club has temporarily suspended its franchising program, slashed prices on its products and moved to simplify its customer reward program.

In addition, President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Montanari has resigned to pursue other interests. He could not be reached for comment.

Jim Livingstone, Nutrition Club chief financial officer, is now heading the operation.
