Opening of Buffalo, N.Y., Transportation Museum Delayed until Spring.

Nov. 7--Car buffs will have to wait a little longer to gaze at bygone marvels -- a downtown transportation museum has pushed back its debut until next spring.

James Sandoro and his wife, Mary Ann, had planned to open their Buffalo Transportation/Pierce-Arrow Museum last summer on Michigan Avenue at Seneca Street, one block east of Dunn Tire Park.

But problems with the building's plumbing and roof delayed construction and prevented the museum from opening on time, Sandoro said. "Once we missed the season, we were better off having the winter to get it ready."
