Dec. 11--SEATTLE--These days Martin Tobias spends less time pondering the open road from the seat of his Harley Davidson and more time pondering the fate of his industry from a desk chair.

The dynamic founder of Seattle-based Loudeye Technologies Inc. has been sounding off about what he calls the "overhyped" streaming media business and its failure to make any real money.

"It's time to stop patting ourselves on the back and get serious," he said.

After all, it's a different time than it was a few years ago, when Tobias took his flame-streaked Fat Boy Harley on a journey across America to make a documentary about motorcycle culture called "Biker Dreams."
