Dec. 7--With its stock mired in the $16 range, its sales spotty and the company reporting a quarterly loss for the first time in recent memory, Nordstrom President Blake Nordstrom said yesterday that if he fails to turn the retailer around soon enough, all possibilities will be on the table -- including selling the Seattle institution.
"It is not something that I want to occur. If I am not doing a good job, there certainly is a possibility," Nordstrom said yesterday after a meeting with analysts in New York. The family is fully aware that the patience of customers and shareholders is thin, he said.
