Not all cars, placed in their proper element and driven as they were meant to be driven, would shine so well as these. A minivan packed full of kids and running the director's cut of Captain Nemo through the flip-down DVD screens wouldn't do it. Nor would a pickup truck loaded with hogs, a Chevy Aveo rented at an airport counter, or an enormous SUV driven dangerously by a tiny person on a cellphone.
But take a Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster, put it on a road where it can wring out its 580 horses, hear the scream of 12 cylinders and tear through the air at speeds normally reserved for things that fly.
