Piyarom Sports Club in Thailand commits 20 million baht to facelift.

Sep. 4--Piyarom Sports Club is investing at least 20 million baht renovating its fitness and other sports facilities in the hope of becoming one of country's leading sports complexes.
SB Realty established Piyarom in 1994 with an investment of 300 million baht, but saw the 26-rai sports club fall on hard times during the 1997 economic crisis.
According to Piya Jittalan, the chairman of SB Realty, the company has begun modernising its image by investing 20 million baht to renovate the 700 square-metre fitness centre on Sukhumvit Soi 101 and other facilities including a golf course and badminton courts.
