Sep. 4--Media tycoon Paiboon Damrongchaitham says he will not pursue an investment in any other football club if his bid to acquire a stake in Liverpool falls through.
"I have studied every team in the Premier League and think that Liverpool is the most attractive as some teams are too expensive, others are in debt and some are controlled by many families," Mr Paiboon said in a statement issued by GMM Grammy, the entertainment conglomerate of which he is the chairman.
He expressed confidence that the club would welcome a Thai partner as the deal would help expand the market in Asia and generate income to the team.
