Sep. 7--MCOT Plc, previously known as the state-owned Mass Communication Organisation of Thailand, will continue to invest heavily next year as part of a plan to double sales growth after listing on the Stock Exchange of Thailand next month.
Among the core projects is the launch of MCOT Television, a 24-hour English-language channel that will be beamed worldwide. The new channel, estimated to cost about two billion baht to launch, is expected within the next year or two.
