Sep. 7--After growing its own brand for almost two decades, the local fashion wholesaler and retailer Pena House Plc plans to start importing clothes next year in order to serve changing trends in retail demand.
The move will also benefit from the reduction in import tariffs that will take place when world garment and textile quotas are abolished starting next January, said president Supoj Tantichirasakul.
The company will start importing four international brands, including Naf Naf from France, Ecko hip-hop style clothing, along with Xoxo athletic shoes and clothing from the US.
