Ukraine plans to increase the capacity of the Kremenchug-Odessa pipeline, used for crude exports through the Black Sea port of Odessa as well as for shipments to the 78,000 b/d Odessa and the 170,000 b/d Kherson refineries.

Construction of the Chikalovka pumping station, which is expected to be completed within 10 months, will boost capacity of the Kremenchug-Snegiryovka section of the line to 560,000 b/d from 382,000 b/d now. At Snegiryovka the pipeline forks, with one branch going west to Odessa and the other continuing south to Kherson.
