TOKYO DISNEYSEA MCCANN ERICKSON JAPAN
While the new Braviseamo! attraction may be labouring beneath a more than slightly unwieldy name, the latest addition to the Tokyo Disneysea list of attractions at least has a high-octane commercial to sing its praises. Starring the spirit of the sea and the spirit of fire, the effects-heavy ad depicts an epic encounter between the two opposing elements. The Paris-based effects studio Sparx was behind the computer graphics on the three 45-second ads, which are now on air on TV and in cinemas across Japan.

The current international campaign for the History Channel, 'know where you stand', is running in 130 countries worldwide. The promos merge historical imagery with modern footage shot from the same perspective in the same geographical location as the original to give the impression of modern-day witnesses to historical events. Key moments in history from in the campaign include the Hindenburg disaster, the fall of the Berlin Wall and the D-Day landings. The spots were directed by Patrick Murphy, from the production company a52, which also completed the post-production process on the campaign.
