Five's new schedule favours reality TV.(Brief Article)
Five is once again looking to reality television to provide it with that elusive breakout hit, as it unveils an autumn schedule centred on a new programme from the maker of Big Brother.
Endemol UK will produce The Farm, a new three-week reality show in which celebrities including Paul Daniels, Debbie McGee and Sophie Anderton will turn their back on city life in favour of life on a working farm.
Other event programming to feature this autumn includes Cosmetic Surgery Live and Boxing Academy. The channel's factual output will include The World's Strongest Boy, John Lydon Shark Attack and Celebrity Swap.
Drama is represented by Murder Prevention while the factual strand The Truth About will present warts-and-all portraits of Richard and Judy, Kate Moss and Gordon Ramsay.
