Sep. 3--Thai Privilege Spa yesterday signed an agreement with Basin Enterprise to invest in two spas in New York City which are to be included in the Thailand Plaza project, a state initiative aimed at promoting Thai goods and services worldwide.
According to Surangrut Chirathivat, managing director of Thai Privilege Spa, the company plans to invest about 60 million baht in two spas, one on Fifth Avenue and the other in the SoHo district, with the first outlet requiring a 40 million baht investment, and the other needing about 20 million.
