Sep. 3--Thailand's online recruitment market has shown the fastest growth in the region, according to Sathinee Mokaves, general manager of the online recruitment firm Jobsdb.com.

Online job search sites began in Thailand almost a decade ago. However, their use has increased at a rapid pace of almost 80 percent in the past two years in line with technology advancements and a rising number of people seeking jobs via this relatively new medium instead of the traditional classified ads, Ms Sathinee said.

"Another driver is the growing economy which has led to the creation of jobs," she added.
