Sep. 3--Bangkok Airways Co, Thailand's oldest privately owned carrier, is adopting a bold new strategy that will place considerable emphasis on new aviation-related businesses including providing airport services as well as building and running airports in neighbouring countries.

The move, announced yesterday by chief executive Prasert Prasarttong-Osoth, forms part of the "four-in-one" strategy to become an integrated aviation company, lessening the group's strong reliance on its core flight businesses and sustaining long-term growth in the range of 20-30 percent per year.
