Littelfuse more than tripled from its October 2002 bottom to its June 2004 peak. It's now shaping a 10-week base. The stock found support above its 200-day moving average and needs to regain its 50-day.
The maker of fuses and circuit protection devices topped second-quarter profit views by 6 cents a share last month, helped by two recent acquisitions. That was its second quarter of triple-digit earnings growth. It said Tuesday its board authorized the company to buy up to 1 million shares through April 2005.
