Sep. 2--The Board of Investment (BoI) approved on Tuesday maximum investment privileges to Kantana Movie Town (2002) Co for the construction of a-1.23-billion baht project which is expected to boost Thailand's movie industry, on Tuesday.

Industry Minister Phinij Jarusombat, also the BoI deputy chairman, said that the project, the first of its kind in Thailand, would be constructed on 300 rai in Nakhon Pathom. It entails integrated services including sound labs, film developing computer graphics, outdoor and indoor studios and other integrated post production services.
