Sep. 2--Three years after being established, the state-owned Thai Asset Management Corp has completed debt restructuring for 753.3 billion baht worth of dud assets, or 96.74 percent of its original portfolio.
Somjate Moosirilert, the TAMC president, said 500 billion baht worth of assets, or 66.46 percent of total loans, had been rehabilitated through the Bankruptcy Court.
He said the business rehabilitation rate was expected to rise to 70 percent of the total restructured by the end of the year.
