Sep. 2--Michael Horgan will tell you that the initials of his company, JPL Productions, stand for "just plain lucky." But it was more hard work and vision than luck that got his multimedia production company to the success level it occupies today.
Just look at JPL's recent purchase of a large, 20-year-old building at 471 Ampwick Drive, Swatara Twp., that had been AMP Inc.'s media center before the midstate electronics giant was acquired by Tyco International Ltd. in 1999. It's near the Wickes Home Center.
