Six Flags ruffled by billionaires
Daniel Snyder, owner of the Washington Redskins football team, bought an 8.8% stake in Six Flags and indicated he may push for a merger or asset sale. Six Flags shareholder Bill Gates, whose investment firm owns 11.5% of the stock, said he's "increasingly dissatisfied" with the company's financial performance, and plans to probe company operations. The park has registered 4 losses in the past 6 quarters. Shares rose 25% to 5.57.
