* Friendster.com became all the rage. All hail the notion of getting it on with your friend's friend's friend's friend.

* The world's largest-ever nude photo shoot took place. Photographer Spencer Tunick got 7,000 people naked on a city street in Barcelona and snapped their picture. We can only imagine what happened when the camera stopped flashing.

* Music videos--J.Lo's booty-shaking "I'm Glad" and Beyonce's VMA-winning "Crazy in Love"--gave cushy tushies the praise they deserve.

* The popularity of text-messaging redefined the booty call by making it much easier and more discreet. C-U-2-nite?
