ski bummer
"I was a ski instructor one winter at a resort in Colorado, and I became good friends with another instructor named Tim. We both met a cute girl who was working at the lodge, but I decided that our friendship was more important than some chick, so I told him to go for it. One evening when he decided to stay in because he had a private lesson early the next morning, I ran into his girl at a local bar. We partied together, and she was so sexy that I lost all willpower and ended up leaving with her. We were all over each other and made it only as far as my car, where we had sex then fell asleep. When we woke up, we were both freezing, so we went to the lodge to warm up in front of the fireplace. But when we stumbled in, completely disheveled, we saw Tim having a cup of hot chocolate and a croissant before his morning lesson. He was so irate that he wouldn't even speak to us for the rest of the season."--Mark, 33

"My roommate had this really annoying girlfriend, Catherine, who was unemployed and basically squatting in our apartment. After a while, I told him I didn't want her living with us if she wasn't going to help out with the rent. He said that we couldn't ask her for money because she didn't have a job and she was going through a really hard time. So I typed up a fake eviction notice from our landlord. It stated that we had violated our lease by having three people living in a two-person-occupancy unit and the only way we could stay in the apartment was if the person who wasn't on the lease left and we paid a $1,500 fine. Catherine freaked when she saw the letter, paid the fine, and moved out immediately. Since we didn't really owe the leasing company any money, we received a $1,500 credit on our next invoice, and I didn't have to worry about rent for two months."--Jay, 25
