"My roommate had this really annoying girlfriend, Catherine, who was unemployed and basically squatting in our apartment. After a while, I told him I didn't want her living with us if she wasn't going to help out with the rent. He said that we couldn't ask her for money because she didn't have a job and she was going through a really hard time. So I typed up a fake eviction notice from our landlord. It stated that we had violated our lease by having three people living in a two-person-occupancy unit and the only way we could stay in the apartment was if the person who wasn't on the lease left and we paid a $1,500 fine. Catherine freaked when she saw the letter, paid the fine, and moved out immediately.
