A Tanoan resident killed in his home is described by a friend as a caring, positive man who was always willing to help those around him.
"I'm really going to miss him," said Adam Slavin, a colleague and friend for the past eight years. "He was a very decent person and I don't say that lightly. He was cheerful and had a can-do attitude. When we had an illness in our family, he helped us out quite a bit."
