Houston _ Milwaukee Brewers left-hander Valerio De Los Santos is headed to the doctor Wednesday morning. After that, he's more than likely headed for the disabled list.

De Los Santos said he "felt something pop" in his left elbow while throwing his first two pitches to Houston first baseman Jeff Bagwell in the seventh inning Tuesday at Enron Field.

"I've never had that feeling before," said De Los Santos, who retired the Astros without incident in the sixth. "I felt something pop. Sometimes, you get a feeling like that and it goes away. After the first one, I wanted to see if I could still throw.
