Mar. 13--Going to college in Owensboro will be more expensive next fall, according to tuition rates set by boards at Western Kentucky University, Kentucky Wesleyan College and Brescia University.
Tuition rates at Owensboro Community and Technical colleges will be announced after the Kentucky Community and Technical College System board meets in April.
Students at WKU-Owensboro will see tuition rise just over 8 percent, said Marilyn Brookman, executive director of the WKU-Owensboro campus. The increase is the same for students attending WKU in Bowling Green, she said.
