Chicago Developer Sued by Milwaukee Customers for Failing to Finish Job.

Apr. 5--A Chicago developer who converted downtown's former Nelson Brothers Furniture Co. building into condominiums is being sued by the property's condo owners association for allegedly failing to complete work at the project.

David Zazove and his firm, Tandem Realty Corp., were sued this week in Milwaukee County Circuit Court by the Riverfront Lofts Condominium Owners Association Inc. for $3 million.

The lawsuit -- which also names a Tandem affiliate, Milwaukee/Riverfront Properties LP -- says Zazove and his company failed to do a number of things at Riverfront Lofts, which has 36 condos at 730 N. Plankinton Ave.
