Apr. 3--People are worried that the Internet age has generated a group of dangerous entrepreneurs and opportunists, according to a study released Monday.

The dangers people fear range from online scam artists to credit card thieves, cyberterrorists to child pornographers, according to the Pew Internet & American Life Project that polled 2,096 adult Americans.

"It's a huge problem," said Sujeet Shenoi, a University of Tulsa computer science professor who specializes in computer crime and is part of a team developing systems to fight cyberterrorist attacks. "It's a lot easier to launch such attacks. The trouble with computer …
