Outdoor decorating or "hard-scaping" with concrete paving and retaining-wall products has taken a deliberate step backward _ to some popular styles of the past, that is.
Some manufacturers of concrete products have added styles featuring antique or "natural" finishes, including various sizes of cobblestones, "old" bricks, Belgian blocks, and, for retaining walls, blocks of mixed lengths that more closely resemble walls of natural stones.
The new styles are a sharp contrast to standard concrete pavers (paving blocks), which have relatively smooth surfaces and geometric shapes, and retaining walls with blocks of uniform size.…
